DD Mini Farm has miniature horses that are available for hire to add charm and joy to your next event! We attend birthday parties, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, and other special occasions. We have had horses rented for various events, including showing properties for sale, fundraisers, bachelorette parties, conventions, and more.
- Rate: $150 per hour for off-farm events.
- Travel Fee: If your location is more than 30 miles from our farm, a mileage fee of $1.50 per mile (round trip) will be added.
- Note: We do not provide riding horses.
To reserve your date, we require a $25 non-refundable deposit to add your event to our calendar. We accept Venmo, PayPal, and cash. The remaining balance is due before unloading horses on the day of the event.
All visits to the farm are by appointment only. Please do not just show up. This is also our home, but sometimes we may not even be here. Please check our calendar and contact us to make an appointment.
Meet The Horses
Bonnie is currently healing from an injury. She can only participate in outside events once she is completely healed. We can not put her gear (pictured) on her at this time.
Joy is starting her indoor events. She does wear gear to “catch” most of her potty accidents. We carry cleaning supplies to clean up any messes that might happen if she drops something on the floor.

We have started allowing people to come to the farm to brush and spend time with the horses. I am not a licensed therapist and do not claim to be one, and we do know that horses sometimes have a magical experience with people. DD Mini Farm has a few people who come out to groom with anxiety, and the time they spend here helps them feel better.

Our horses are miniature horses, and they are too small to ride. We do not offer pony rides.
If you are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit or a nursing home, please contact our Non-Profit Meeting Individuals Needing Inspiration Therapeutic Horses for a discounted rate. If you are more than 30 miles from the farm, an additional fuel fee for the truck may apply.
