Bonnie and Friends Therapy Horses

Bonnie and Friends are available to be hired to come to your events.  Our rate is $150 per hour when traveling off the farm.  If you are more than 30 miles from our farm, an additional fee of $1.50 per mile (both directions) will be added to your invoice.  We do not have riding horses.

You must make a $25 non-refundable deposit to get your event on the calendar.  We accept Venmo, PayPal, and Cash.

Bonnie and Friends attend Birthday Parties, corporate events, Fundraisers, and more.

All visits to the farm are by appointment only.  Please do not just show up.  This is also our home; sometimes, we may not even be here.  Please check our calendar and contact us to make an appointment.

Bonnie is available for all events, both inside and outside.

At this time, Joy is only available for outside events.  She is being trained to go inside.

Lilly is one of our smallest minis.  Currently, she can only travel with Joy or Bonnie.  We are looking for places to take her and give her some experience.

Melodie is still in training and will be available this summer for outside events.

Bonnie and Friends Rates (at the farm)

We have started allowing people to come to the farm to brush and spend time with the horses.  I am not a licensed therapist and do not claim to be one, and we do know that horses sometimes have a magical experience with people.  DD Mini Farm has a few people who come out to groom with anxiety, and the time they spend here helps them feel better.

  • one to five people $35 per hour
  • 6 to 10 people $70 per hour
  • More than ten people pay $125 per hour

Our horses are miniature horses and too small to ride.  We do not offer pony rides.

If you are a 501c3 non-profit or a nursing home, please get in touch with our Non-Profit Meeting Individuals Needing Inspiration Therapeutic Horses for a discounted rate.  If you are over 40 miles from the farm, there may be an additional fee for fuel for the truck.

Under Tennessee Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 44, chapter 20.
